Cutting-edge drones, robots and an advanced solar car were on display this week at technology innovation exhibition, Widevision.
Students from Western Sydney University’s School of Computing, Engineering, and Mathematics (SCEM) showcased their innovative projects including robotic design, an electric car, and advances in medical technology.
Professor Simeon Simoff, Dean of SCEM said, “The exhibition reflects the spirit of unlimited creativity and excellence at Western Sydney University.”
The University’s Solar Car team premiered their documentary, which showcased their journey from Darwin to Adelaide in last year’s 2015 Bridgestone World Solar challenge.
Graduate engineer Nicholas Ralph presented his thesis – human feature recognition using drone-acquired images.
